Amphibians

Class Amphibia: ectothermic vertebrates with permeable skin and, typically, a life cycle that begins in water and moves to land: frogs, toads, salamanders and caecilians. Excludes reptiles, whose scaled, less permeable skin lets them live fully independent of standing water.
