Rosy Wolfsnail

Euglandina rosea, known as the rosy wolfsnail or cannibal snail, is a medium to large predatory land snail that hunts and eats other snails and slugs. Introduced to Hawaii in 1955 as a biological control meant to check the invasive giant African land snail, it instead drove an estimated eight native Hawaiian snail species to extinction, a track record that has earned it a place on the IUCN's list of the hundred most invasive species.
