This group gathers Flowering Plants subcategory members belonging chiefly to the two related orders Lamiales and Solanales, joined here as the report's own proposed scheme suggests because both are asterid orders rich in familiar culinary and ornamental plants with a broadly two-lipped or funnel-shaped flower.
