Tunbridge Filmy Fern

The Tunbridge filmy fern is a small, fragile perennial fern that forms dense colonies of overlapping leaves spreading from creeping rhizomes. Its common name comes from its leaves, which are only a single cell thick and translucent, giving them the look of a wet film, and its evergreen fronds are deeply and irregularly divided and typically three to six centimeters long.
