Mountain peacock-pheasant

The mountain peacock-pheasant, also known as Rothschild peacock-pheasant or the mirror pheasant, is a medium-sized blackish-brown pheasant reaching up to 65 centimeters in length, marked with small eye-like ocelli and long, graduated tail feathers. The male carries metallic blue ocelli on its upperparts, green ocelli across a twenty-feather tail, and two spurs on each leg. The female is smaller and duller, with black ocelli on the upperparts, unspurred legs, and an eighteen-feather tail.
