The white-bellied goshawk, Tachyspiza haplochroa, also called the New Caledonia goshawk or white-bellied sparrowhawk, and known locally as katabeialek, is a bird of prey in the family Accipitridae, endemic to New Caledonia and formerly placed in the genus Accipiter. It inhabits subtropical and tropical moist lowland and montane forest, dry savanna, and heavily degraded former forest, and its main threat is ongoing habitat loss.
