The sulphur-crested cockatoo is a relatively large white cockatoo found in wooded habitats in Australia, New Guinea and some islands of Indonesia. It can be locally very numerous, sometimes leading it to be considered a pest, and as a highly intelligent bird it is well known in aviculture, although it can be a demanding pet.
