The pied raven is an extinct colour morph of the North Atlantic subspecies of the common raven, found only on the Faroe Islands, where the last confirmed record dates to 1902. It had large patches of white feathering, most often on the head, wings and belly, with a light brown beak, and otherwise resembled the all black North Atlantic ravens that remain widespread on the Faroe Islands and in Iceland.
