Pinus maximinoi, known as thinleaf pine, is a species of conifer in the pine family Pinaceae, found in Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador at elevations of 1,500 to 2,400 meters. It grows 15 to 30 meters tall and has smooth bark when young; it belongs to the Ponderosae subsection of the genus Pinus. The IUCN assessed it as Least Concern in 2013.
