Pterophyllum altum, also known as the altum angelfish, deep angelfish, or Orinoco angelfish, is a species of fish found strictly in the Orinoco River Basin and the upper Rio Negro watershed, in southern Venezuela, southeastern Colombia and the extreme north of Brazil.
