Yeti Crab, formally the genus Kiwa, comprises marine decapods living at deep-sea hydrothermal vents and cold seeps. They are commonly called yeti lobsters or yeti crabs after the legendary yeti, for their hairy, bristly appearance, and the genus is placed in its own family, Kiwaidae, within the superfamily Chirostyloidea.
