The northern leaf-tailed gecko, also called the northern flat-tail gecko, is a lizard restricted to northern Madagascar, first formally described in 1894. It lives in forest at altitudes of about 650 to 950 meters and reproduces by laying eggs. It is classified as Near Threatened on the IUCN Red List.
