Goldeneye cichlid

The goldeneye cichlid is a species of cichlid found in fresh water from the Aruka River in Guyana to the Maroni River in Suriname, often occurring on flooded savannas near the coast. It is regarded as a dwarf cichlid, with males reaching about 5.6 centimetres in length and females somewhat smaller.
