Nepenthes khasiana is a tropical pitcher plant in the family Nepenthaceae, and the only Nepenthes species native to India. It is largely endemic to the Khasi Hills of Meghalaya, with additional populations recorded in the Jaintia Hills, the Garo Hills, the Dima Hasao district of Assam, and parts of Nagaland. The species is listed as endangered and is placed on CITES Appendix I, which prohibits commercial international trade in it. Researchers believe the plant attracts prey partly through a blue fluorescence produced by its pitchers.
