Solanum pimpinellifolium

Solanum pimpinellifolium, commonly known as the currant tomato, is a wild species of tomato native to Ecuador and Peru that has also naturalized elsewhere, including the Galapagos Islands. Its small fruits are edible and it is often grown in gardens as an heirloom tomato, though it is considered wild rather than domesticated, unlike the commonly cultivated tomato species Solanum lycopersicum.
