Allium ursinum, widely known as wild garlic or ramsons, is a bulbous perennial flowering plant in the amaryllis family, Amaryllidaceae. It is native to Eurasia, where it grows in moist woodland, and is a wild relative of onion and garlic within the same genus, Allium. Two subspecies are recognized, Allium ursinum subsp. ursinum and subsp. ucrainicum.
