Agathis moorei is a medium sized evergreen conifer in the family Araucariaceae, growing up to 30 meters tall, endemic to New Caledonia where it occurs scattered across the main island in subtropical rainforest between 30 and 850 meters elevation. It has opposite paired leaves 5 to 7 centimeters long, extending to 20 centimeters on young growth, and oval cones up to 15 centimeters long that disintegrate at maturity to release winged seeds. The IUCN Red List classifies it as Vulnerable, with habitat loss the primary threat.
