Cerastium tomentosum

Cerastium tomentosum, commonly known as snow-in-summer, is a herbaceous flowering perennial plant in the family Caryophyllaceae, native to the alpine regions of central and southern Italy. It is a low, spreading plant with silvery grey stems and leaves covered in felty hairs, and its star shaped white flowers grow to about 15 millimeters across.
