The Chagos anemonefish (Amphiprion chagosensis) is endemic to the Chagos Archipelago in the Indian Ocean, first collected at Diego Garcia Atoll. Adults reach about 10 centimeters and are light brown with two dark edged white bars and dusky brown fins; it is distinguished from the similar Amphiprion bicinctus by a narrower head bar and a whitish tail fin. It associates with several host anemones, including the bubble tip anemone, the magnificent sea anemone, the long tentacle anemone, and Mertens' carpet sea anemone, and the IUCN lists it as Least Concern.
