The Seychelles anemonefish (Amphiprion fuscocaudatus), described by Gerald Allen in 1972, is endemic to the Seychelles Islands and Aldabra in the western Indian Ocean. It reaches about 14 centimeters and is dark brown to blackish with white bars and yellow or orange markings on the snout, breast, belly, and lower fins, and its tail fin carries a dark central area with lighter streaks on either side. It associates with Mertens' carpet sea anemone as its host, and the IUCN lists it as Least Concern.
