Albatrellus subrubescens

Albatrellus subrubescens is a species of polypore fungus in the family Albatrellaceae, found in Asia, Europe, and North America. Its fruit bodies have whitish to pale buff-colored caps that can reach up to 14.5 centimeters in diameter, with stems up to 7 centimeters long and 2 centimeters thick. The underside of the cap carries tiny light yellow to pale greenish-yellow pores where spores are produced, and fresh fruit bodies stain yellow where exposed, handled, or bruised.
