Yeast and mold orders are the orders of fungi that hold the yeasts and the microscopic pin or sugar molds. Among the sac fungi the Tree of Life lists Saccharomycetales, the order of the yeast of commerce and foundation of the baking and brewing industries, Saccharomyces cerevisiae, beside Schizosaccharomycetales, Pneumocystidales, Neolectales and Taphrinales. Among the Zygomycota it lists Endogonales, Mucorales, Mortierellales, Entomophthorales, Asellariales, Kickxellales, Dimargaritales, Harpellales and Zoopagales. GBIF counts about 6,104 descendant taxa in Saccharomycetales and about 2,347 in Mucorales.
