Erotylidae

Erotylidae, the pleasing fungus beetles, is a family of small, often brightly colored beetles with more than 3,000 described species across hundreds of genera, ranging from about 2 millimeters to nearly 2 centimeters long. The family name comes from the Ancient Greek for darling, referring to their shiny, rounded appearance, and it is an ancient lineage with fossils known from Early Cretaceous Lebanese amber. Members feed on plant and fungal matter, pollinate some cycads, and a few species are minor agricultural pests.
