Small dusty wave

The small dusty wave, Idaea seriata, is a moth of the family Geometridae, first described by Franz von Paula Schrank in 1802. It is found throughout western, central, and northern Europe, extending to Denmark and southern Scandinavia in the north and Russia in the east, and also occurs in the British Isles, North Africa, Turkey, Cyprus, and the Caucasus. It is a very small moth with a wingspan of 19 to 21 millimeters, described as one of the least striking members of its family, basically grey with indistinct markings apart from a black discal spot typical of its genus.
