Dicranum scoparium, the broom forkmoss, is a moss native to most of the Northern Hemisphere as well as Oceania, in the family Dicranaceae. It typically grows in round clumps or mats on soil in dry to moist forested areas, often alongside other mosses, and can be distinguished by its leaves, which curve strongly to one side.
