Norway Lobster

The Norway lobster is a slender, orange-pink lobster found on muddy seafloors of the northeastern Atlantic and Mediterranean, where it digs and lives in a burrow that it rarely strays far from. It is largely nocturnal, emerging mostly at night or in low light to forage, and is one of Europe's most commercially valuable crustaceans, sold and served under names including scampi and langoustine. Its long, narrow claws distinguish it from the stockier true lobsters found in the same waters.
