All Conifer Genera

Conifer genera are the genera of conifer families such as Pinaceae and Cupressaceae, both placed by GBIF in the order Pinales. The Pinaceae is led by Pinus with about 531 descendant taxa, Abies with about 173, Picea with about 113, Larix with about 58, Tsuga with about 27 and Cedrus with about 24. The Cupressaceae has 108, led by Juniperus with about 225, Cupressus with about 95, Callitris with about 46, Thuja and Sequoia with about 41 each and Chamaecyparis with about 37.
