All Fern Genera

Fern genera are the genera of the ferns, the Polypodiopsida, which are more closely related to seed plants than to the lycophytes even though both are seed-free vascular plants. In the order Polypodiales, GBIF lists Elaphoglossum with about 857 descendant taxa and Dryopteris with about 793 in the Dryopteridaceae, Pteris with about 617 and Adiantum with about 433 in the Pteridaceae, Polypodium with about 342 in the Polypodiaceae, and Asplenium with about 1,517 in the Aspleniaceae, the largest single fern genus in these four families.

Asplenium (Wikipedia)

Quote, Has Member: Asplenium, Lead
Asplenium is a genus of about 700 species of ferns, often treated as the only genus in the family Aspleniaceae, though other authors consider Hymenasplenium separate, based on molecular phylogenetic analysis of DNA sequences, a different chromosome count, and structural differences in the rhizomes.
