Trifolium, commonly called clovers or trefoils, is a genus of herbaceous plants growing up to 30 centimetres tall. The leaves are usually trifoliate, and the small flowers range from reddish to white or yellow. Related genera with similar common names include Melilotus and Medicago, the latter known as burclover.
