Snake Families (Serpentes) is a Browse By group of the Nature Atlas that gathers the families of snakes, cobras and vipers, colubrids, boas and pythons, and many smaller families. An entry belongs here when its own cited article states that it is a family of snakes. It excludes the blind snake families, lizards, turtles and crocodilians. Members are placed by the classification their cited article gives, not by common name or appearance alone.
