The Cayenne stubfoot toad, known locally as atelope jaunatre, is a species of true toad in the family Bufonidae found in northeastern French Guiana and the neighboring Brazilian state of Amapa. It lives in lowland primary forest near small, fast flowing streams and is described as locally common with no major documented threats. First described by Dumeril and Bibron in 1841 and formerly classified under the name Atelopus vermiculatus, it is nonetheless assessed as vulnerable by the IUCN.
