Crypsirina

Crypsirina is a small genus of long-tailed, highly arboreal passerine birds in the crow and jay family Corvidae, comprising two species that rarely come to the ground to feed. The racket-tailed treepie is an all-black species of Southeast Asia found across southern Myanmar, Thailand, Indochina, Sumatra, Java and Bali and is assessed as Least Concern, while the hooded treepie is a grey-and-black species endemic to Myanmar and assessed as Near Threatened. Both belong to subfamily Crypsirininae within Corvidae, and the genus was established by Louis Jean Pierre Vieillot in 1816, with the racket-tailed treepie as its type species.
