Garrulus is a genus of Old World jays, passerine birds in the family Corvidae. Three species are currently accepted, with its type species the Eurasian jay, Garrulus glandarius, though some taxonomists split that species further into as many as five. The genus spans from western Europe and northwestern Africa east to the Indian subcontinent and eastern Asia, with individual species occupying specific regions within that broader range.
