Temnurus

Temnurus is a monotypic genus in the crow family Corvidae containing a single species, the ratchet-tailed treepie, also called the notch-tailed treepie, placed in subfamily Crypsirininae alongside the other treepies. The species has a fragmented range across southern Thailand, southern and central-northern Vietnam, Laos and the island of Hainan in China, where it occupies tropical moist broadleaf evergreen lowland forest as well as secondary forest and scrubland, and it is assessed as Least Concern.
