The broad-billed parrot, also called the raven parrot, was a large parrot in the family Psittaculidae that lived only on the island of Mauritius and went extinct around the 1680s. It had a disproportionately large head and jaws, a frontal crest of feathers, and a beak comparable in size to that of a hyacinth macaw; males measured 55 to 65 centimeters and females 45 to 55 centimeters, and the species showed the greatest sexual dimorphism in skull size of any known parrot.
