All Amoebae

Amoebae is a Browse By group of the Nature Atlas that gathers free-living amoebae, single-celled organisms that move and feed with flowing extensions of the cell. An entry belongs here when its own cited article states that it is an amoeba or amoeboid organism. It excludes ciliates, slime molds and shelled foraminifera. Members are placed by the classification their cited article gives, not by common name or appearance alone.
