The Aldabra day gecko, also known as Abbott's day gecko or the Assumption day gecko, is a lizard found in Madagascar and the Seychelles, with separate subspecies on Aldabra Atoll, on Assumption Island and on mainland Madagascar. It lives in dry and moist lowland forest, mangrove, dry shrubland, rural gardens, urban areas and areas of introduced vegetation, and reproduces by laying eggs. It is classified as Least Concern by the IUCN.
