The Borneo kauri is a conifer in the family Araucariaceae native to Sumatra, Peninsular Malaysia, and Borneo, growing in lowland to upland tropical rainforest up to 2,400 meters elevation. It reaches up to 50 meters tall with a long, narrow cone and dark green leaves. Long treated as synonymous with Agathis dammara, it was established as a distinct species by the botanist Aljos Farjon, and the IUCN Red List classifies it as Endangered.
