Beloniformes is an order of freshwater and marine ray-finned fish composed of six families: Adrianichthyidae, Belonidae (the needlefishes), Exocoetidae (the flyingfishes), Hemiramphidae (the halfbeaks), Scomberesocidae (the sauries) and Zenarchopteridae.
