Belomys is a genus of squirrel in the flying squirrel tribe Pteromyini that today contains a single living species, the hairy-footed flying squirrel, alongside two extinct fossil species. The genus, established by Oldfield Thomas in 1908 with a type species first named by John Edward Gray in 1842, has a temporal range running from the Late Pliocene to the present.
