Natalidae, the funnel-eared bats, is a small family of insectivorous bats found in the Caribbean and parts of Mexico, Central America and South America. They are named for their large, funnel-shaped ears, and are typically slender-bodied bats that roost in caves and other cavities in humid tropical habitats. Funnel-eared bats forage for small flying insects, usually close to vegetation.
