Nandiniidae is a family of carnivorans containing a single living species, the African palm civet, Nandinia binotata. The African palm civet is a small feliform mammal widely distributed across sub-Saharan Africa. It is the sole member of its family, set apart from the other feliform carnivorans as its own distinct lineage, and its conservation status is assessed as Least Concern by the IUCN Red List.
