Exilisciurus

Exilisciurus, the pygmy squirrels, is a genus of three species living in forests across Southeast Asia: the Philippine pygmy squirrel, the least or plain pygmy squirrel, and the tufted pygmy squirrel, formally placed in this genus by Moore in 1958. These tiny squirrels are mostly olive-brown to grey-brown, though the tufted pygmy squirrel has conspicuous ear tufts, and they are active, omnivorous animals that eat both vegetation and insects.
