Class Mammalia: warm blooded vertebrates with hair or fur that nurse their young. Covers everything from the largest whales to the smallest shrews. Excludes any animal without mammary glands, however fur like its covering looks; a pangolin scale or a bird feather does not qualify a species for this group.
