Ouranopithecus macedoniensis

Ouranopithecus macedoniensis is a prehistoric species of the genus Ouranopithecus from the Late Miocene of Greece, known from three localities in Northern Greece. The first specimen, bearing upper deciduous teeth, was described from the Ravin de la Pluie locality in the Axios Valley, with the other localities being Chalkidiki and Xirochori.
