Gunning's golden mole, Neamblysomus gunningi, is a small burrowing mammal in the family Chrysochloridae, endemic to South Africa, where it is known only from the far northern Drakensberg at Woodbush Forest and the New Agatha Forest Reserve in Limpopo Province. It spends most of its time underground and was listed as Endangered in 2006, with its declining numbers attributed to habitat clearance and destruction and to predation by domestic cats and dogs.
