Silurian Waukesha Biota Genera

Silurian Waukesha Biota Genera is a Browse By group of the Nature Atlas that gathers genera known from the Silurian Waukesha Biota of Wisconsin, a fossil site that preserved soft-bodied arthropods, such as Parioscorpio and Papiliomaris. An entry belongs here when its own cited article states that the genus comes from the Waukesha Biota. It excludes fossils from other sites. The Waukesha Biota is about 437 million years old, and its fine preservation of soft parts gives a rare view of animals that left almost no fossil record elsewhere, which is why these genera are kept together as one site fauna.
