Boa constrictor occidentalis, commonly known as the Argentine boa, is a subspecies of large, heavy-bodied, nonvenomous constricting snake in the family Boidae. It is found mostly in tropical and subtropical areas of northern Argentina and Paraguay, with some individuals reported in Bolivia as well.
