The yellow-headed day gecko, also called the neon day gecko, is a small diurnal lizard endemic to northwestern Madagascar, reaching a total length of about 8.3 to 9.5 centimeters. Its upper and mid back are turquoise blue, the lower back light brown, and the head is yellow with a black spot and stripe behind the eye. It lives in coastal dry and humid forest at altitudes up to 400 meters, most often found on yellow bamboo canes, and is classified as Endangered on the IUCN Red List.
