The terror skink, also called Bocourt's terrific skink or Bocourt's eyelid skink, is a species of lizard in the family Scincidae, endemic to the Ile des Pins, a small islet off the coast of New Caledonia. First described in 1876, it was long presumed extinct until its rediscovery in 1993, after which several further individuals were observed. Because of its tiny range and small population, the International Union for Conservation of Nature has assessed the species as critically endangered.
